Does disabling the equalizer make any difference? It sounds like there's a delay before it kicks in.

When I skip a song the first half a second or so goes really loud. It seems what is happening is it is taking the equalizer a second to turn on. I've been a member for quite awhile but I'm getting pretty sick of this issue. I see posts from 2013 of people with the same problem. Is there still no fix for this?

I will be switching to Apple Music if this doesn't have a fix!

Yea it does, but I didn't buy expensive headphones to listen to them flat. The equalizer settings should not be having this problem. Never had this issue with Apple Music and the same headphones.
