Spotify stops in background!!!!

Hey guys, so im listening to spotify and then I want to go on another app (like Clash Royale) and then spotify just stops!!!! Its so frustrating. I have premium, with my Galaxy S6 Edge, Android 6.1

Some apps over take the playback in some apps you can mute all sounds, but even when you mute all sound some apps still reserve the playback.

Hello!

Do the app crashes, or are the music just stop playing?

If the music just stops playing, go check so background data for Spotify isnt disabled. Do this by going to settings -> Data Usage -> click on spotify, and make sure the box called "Restrict background data" isnt filled.

If that doesnt work, does it keep playing the music if you have downloaded your tracks? Is it different when you do it on youre mobile network then youre wifi?

Does this happend on every app, or just some of them? What if you just switch to the homescreen?

The restricted data did not solve my problem. The music stops and the app is still running in background. Streaming music on premium account. Being 5ft away from router on wifi.

I have the same problem, currently trying to work out if there is a pattern. Seems to be about every three songs or so.

Have diabeled all powersaving modes, other applications, re-installed etc etc. Problem persists.

Becasue this is one of a few problems I have I think this is a case of the Android application just being subpar (and spotify don't seem to really care).

You have Others apps running in Second plan? I think that don't have too much memory to run Spotify and clash royale
