Why has my data usage tripled in the last few days when I am not doing a single thing different?

Hi Stoeball,

Try making sure your Spotify account isn't running in the background. If you have an iOS device it is an easy fix if this is the case (simply double-click "home" button and slide each task off screen to close each application), or turn off "data usage" for Spotify in your settings. Also, if you can access wifi when you use Spotify be sure to use this for listening and that will cut down on data.

(I realise the last point is when you are using Spotify, but this can also help when not using it).

Go to Spotify settings and look out for the streaming quality option. There you can change it to "normal quality" this will cut down your data usage. 😉
