On my galaxy tab e, I have my storage setting to SD card. However every single time my device is powered down (restart, dead battery, etc) all of my downloaded songs are gone and the storage setting is flipped back to "device" I stead of SD. Why does this keep happening?

Tried fresh reinstall of app and clearing of cash. Even did a reinstall after a manual delete of application files.
