Same issue recently occured for me on both Windows 10 and Android device for me. Also one time it had stopped it resumed play after around 30 minutes, just all of a sudden. I agree with OP. It's bullcrap to have to deal with this as premium customer.

I've seen quite a few issues with Spotify in my time of use. Spotify seems to be lacking severely in the quality assurance and testing. And everytime we hear about a "solution" from a Spotify supporter it's always something like clear cache, reinstall app and so on. In some cases they even blame network as the issue. Yet I see no other apps having any issues related to this. For me this is 100% a Spotify issue, and they need to address these problems properly if they want satisfied customers who are prone to recommend their product to others.

I use Galaxy S6 edge with newest firmware.

I am so frustrated. I looked into every single threads here related to Spotify stop playing randomly middle of a song.

I tried every single one of the methods. It worked for a week or so and now it does it again.

Seriously, Spotify. DO SOMETHING.

I am sick and tired of paying premium every month and deal with this nonsense.

@Westerguard, I totally agree with you.

I hate how the music stops in the middle of driving and it is very dangerous to play the music again while I am on the road.

If this issue continues and Spotify do not want to fix it, I am more than happy to move on to a different streaming services.
