Spotify startup agony on Android

Hi there, my Spotify regularly stops responding during startup. I see the circle rotating and oops messages when switching between main sections like Home, Browse, Search. This agony takes tens of seconds, but often several annoying minutes. It consumes CPU completely. It appears with all types and quality of connections. It has been there for ages. Currently Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. The same with older mobiles, Android versions, Spotify versions. Fed up with that. Please help. Thanks.

Me too.

Became a problem about 3-4 months ago (introduced with an app update).

Based on Spotify's demonstrated (in)capability to fix anything, don't expect a fix anytime soon.

Similarly, don't expect any official Spotify response on this forum.

The only 'Spotify' people who visit this forum ar ethe volunteer helpers, spamming "Please delete and reinstall the app" messages in the hope of snagging a free tee-shirt.

Simply, Spotify do not provide any official interaction or support or assisitance via this forum.
