There is a "On Going Issues" blog thread in the general community which may be an appropriate place to put this. If you found that this worked, would you be willing to mark it as a solution so other users could come strait to it? Hope the bug works itself out soon, happy listening!

Best,

ibonsall14

My offline music keeps getting removed after spotify updates. It happened randomly before, but recently it was specific to the update. I noticed that the "allowed offline device" was filled with my android phone at a week apart or so (perfectly matching the app update), thus explaining why my offline download on my mac and windows laptops were removed.

So in short, at each updates the app was thinking that it was a new device, authorizing it and therefore removing another one.

My phone is a Nexus 5 running 6.0.1 (currently spotify 7.9.0.746)

While this issue seems close to this other one https://community.spotify.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/spotifyandroid/page/1/thread-id/59595, I don't think it's the same.

Hi!

Not terribly sure why it keeps doing this to you, did the same thing to me once too. What I had to do was go into my account on a desktop of some sort and go into the offline devices (located on the left hand column), then I deleted all allowed devices, and then readded it back in by signing in on the mobile platform, and downloading music offline.

Hope this helps!

Happy listening,

ibonsall14

Hi!

Thanks for your help! Yes, that's what I did.

However, it's a temporary fix and there's clearly a bug. I don't know if this is the place to leave a bug report and if this is seen by the developers.
