Android did not pick up playlist change automatically

The one "connect" feature I DO expect is that, when I modify a playlist that my Android has downloaded, it picks up this playlist change instantly and downloads any tracks it needs to.

My CurrentWeekly playlist is changed every Monday night with new songs. Last night I created the new playlist.

Got up this morning ready to go do work and my Android had not noted any changes or downloaded any of the tracks until I selected the playlist from the menu (which is always several steps of course as your app is no longer designed primarily around user playlists).

I don't want it to pick up:

1. What I listened to on another device (thus it shouldn't be in a play-queue on the temporary playlists I listen to to create the master one).

2. What my friends are listening to.

I do expect it to pick up when I have changed a playlist that it has on "download".

Delayed me about 5-10 minutes while it downloaded the 43 songs on it.
