topic AUX cable issue and earphones plugin. in Android

So this is the thing, when I have an aux cable plugged to my phone and listening to music in the car for example, the music keeps pausing and the headphone symbol blinks for just a second and the music stops. You have to press play again for it to resume playing but then it just pauses again after a few seconds. Sometimes I can play whole songs but sometimes it just pauses all the time. Had the issue with the old cable I used in the car so I bought a new one to see if that was the problem but it´s the same with the new one. I have tried on different speakers, like a portable speaker aswell and other programs than spotify but the problem is still there. Playing directly form the phone speaker works fine. Maybe it´s the phone, I bought it 4 month ago so the aux connection in the phone shoud not be that torn out yet. The phone is a Huawei TIT-L01.

I don´t think this have anything to do with the spotify app but maybe someone here have been having the same issue and can help.

Hi @ponntuss! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

When the headphones symbol blink, it means it has an issue with the AUX input. Either Cable or connector is faulty, I know it shouldn't be like this but it has happened many times with different phones.

Have you tried using earphones and with a common music player? If it still happens the same thing, then it is definitely a faulty connector.

Please let me know how it goes!

Have a nice day 🙂
