as you can see in the attachments spotify is using a huge amount of background data although i disabled that

how can i fix this?

why?

Hi there. You can adjust the streaming and download quality in your settings 🙂 You might wanna check if you are streaming in highest quality, that would eat more data. Hope this helps!

hi, thank yiu for your reply

i never stream the music, everything i listen to is downloaded
the streaming quality is also set to autimatic
i will set it to low, maybe it changes something
still it used the data in the background although background data was not enabled andthe app was not even running in the background

I only listen to downloaded music as OP stated. Why is Spotify using any data if I've already taken the effort to give up hard drive space?
