Pausing

I am on a galaxy s5. Every time I use Spotify, the music pauses after every song if the phone is locked. But as soon as I get on it and pull Spotify up it resumes itself. I keep the app running just like I did with my old phone and never had trouble with it. My internet is fine as well. Please help.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

Samsung introduced an agressive power saving option that you may need to turn off.

If this does not help, we suggest you try a clean reinstall and see if it helps.

That was the problem. That kind of stinks though. I seem to have gotten a poor battery and need the power saving mode. It is good to know nonetheless. Thanks!!
