Issue with Android Auto and Spotify

I use Android Auto (connected with my car) and Spotify to listen to music. Since some of the latest updates, I get an error in Android Auto saying ("Spotify seems to be currently not working") (translated from German) and when I tap on the menu it shows nothing and freezes forever. All other music apps (like TuneIn) work still fine. Just restarting the phone helps, but after a day, the same behaviour happens again. How can this be solved?

I have been uninstalling and reinstalling the app to get this to work on Android Auto. Super annoying 😞

You using store version? Do you also have a problem with queues not showing all your songs in the playlist?
