Spotify crashes after latest Samsung S8 Android update

After the latest Samsung S8 Android update Spotify crashes at startup. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall but the issue remains.

Same here 😞 Before login app is working. After I log in (FB or std creds) it fails 😞

uninstalled, reinstalled..tried FB login..shuts off but is running in the background. uninstall, reinstalled to get login window again. This time used email login. works.

Not a perfect solution, but works for me (but I had to use username instead of email)

Spotify was working well until yesterday. Did all the steps: clear cache, clear data, uninstall, reinstall (multiple times). everytime I opened spotify, I didn't even get a few seconds on the log in page. couldn't even press log in with facebook or log in. the app just crashed. what now?

i'm using Android version 6.0.1 (rooted) and spotify version 8.4.3.479.
