Spotify won't open on my Android device

Hello,

My android app won't open after I logged in. So this is what happens:
as soon as I open it the screen is gray for half a second and it closes again.

I tried almost everything I guess:

Rebooted device
Cleared data (after this the app opens but when I log in it crashes again)
Cleared cache
Reinstalled trough the play store
Installed an older version of Spotify

None of this works, even if I try it multiple times.

What could be the reason? and how can i fix it?

PS: I'm using a One Plus 3 Android version 7.1.1

this is the same for me on Samsung S7 edge , Tab2 and Nexus 7 .. the problem must be at their end all web and windows app work which is strange ...

I'm having the same issue! My GS6 updated to Nougat last night and now Spotify doesn't work at all. I've tried uninstalling twice, rebooting, clearing cache, nothing seems to be working...made for a frustrating drive into work this morning...i mean come on who listens to the radio anymore?

fist time I have had a problem with spotify app not loading but what i do find very fustrating is the lack of status update on the main site and any contact details for getting in touch with anyon CS at spotify.

This is making me think i will cancel my sub at the end of the month and try out anther music streaming service ..

It is now magically working...must have been an issue on the Spotify end.

I just downloaded the app after signing up on the web, but now it doesn't want to open. I'm using an XTouch PF73-Android 4.4.2
