I tried 2 different cords. Same noise with all 3. It's weird because Spotify works with my sound system in my bedroom. Just not my car. So I'm starting to think it's the aux outlet in my car.

I have the galaxy s8 and when I'm using the aux cord only in my car, it's making a really bad static noise. Any help why or how to get rid of it? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing... Didn't help. I tried the equalizer... Didn't do anything. Help! I love using Spotify in my car!

Have you tried using a different aux cord?

You could have a faulty aux cord, test by playing sound from an app other than spotify, if it still makes a bad sound you know its the aux cord itself.

Could be the case, try playing a song from youtube in your car to see if it still has the noise, if it still makes a noise you know its your car
