Song doesn't start right away

I'm using a Motorola G5 Plus, and ever since I started using it I've had this problem.
When I play a song, it shows that it's playing, however the song doesn't start, I have to skip a few seconds in for it to actually play, and it happens with songs that I know start right away.

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

Can you give us some more info about this issue?

Can you let us know if this started happening after a specific update or event?
Can you let us know what operating system and Spotify version you're currently using?
Does this happen when trying to stream music through 3G/4G or on WiFi?
Is this happening across all your devices?

In the meantime, try logging out and back in to see if this issue persists.

We'll see what we can suggest 🙂

I'm sorry, I was in a hurry when I wrote this!
This never happened when I was using an IPod 5 to listen to Spotify, but it started happening when I switched to my Android, but it didn't start right away, it took about 5 days for the problem to start happening. There wasn't even an update.
My Spotify version is 8.4.1.846 armV7, and my Android operational system is 7.0 (Nougat)
(Extra: My phone has a GPU Adreno 506 and a CPU Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-a53)
This problem only happens with downloaded music (my downloads are set to standard), with streaming music it didn't happen so far.
This problem only started happening after I switched from iOs to Android, Spotify works fine on my IPod.
Also, I re-downloaded the app many times, I logged in a friend's account to see if the problem persisted and it did.
Something that's worth mentioning is that this doesn't happen to all songs, some play just fine, but others won't start playing until I move the time bar(?) a little, even though it shows that it's playing just fine.
