Songs missing green symbol

Im have premium and fot some reason most my songs lose the download symbol. But it does not give me the option to download them separately unless i hit downlpad over an album or playlist. Offline they will appear grayed out, but i can still play them. I am trying to find out if this happens to anyone else?

I have a s7 and the latest version of spotify

Thanks for getting in touch with the Spotify Community. We'll be happy to help.

In this case, please follow these steps:

Log in to your account page and click Offline devices in the menu on the left.
Click REMOVE ALL DEVICES.
Reinstall the app. Here's how.
Save your offline tracks again.
