Spotify gift card

I recently logged on to enter the second 3 month Spotify gift card and the number took. It shows on-line that I have until 8/18 but it does not work on the phone? I keep getting the adds. It is as though it works on the computer but not on the phone but the account log in is the same. Any ideas?

If you're not able to see the Premium features on the account, please try reinstalling the app. Here's how.

If that doesn't work, try logging in with any other email addresses or usernames you might have used to create another Spotify account.
