App not responsive initially when launched

Hi, I'm using Nexus 6P (Android 7.1.2).
I noticed that for the recent Spotify app versions, the app is not initially responsive when I first launch the app. The home screen & menu appear fine, but when I click on a song & do an action (add song to queue or go to album/artist), nothing happens. I have to repeat my action a few times before it works. Wish to feedback on this.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

That's odd. Give it a try reinstalling the app and see if you're still experiencing the same issue. Here's how. Also, could you check how much free space do you have available on your phone?

Hi MJ, thanks. I did the reinstall according to the instructions. My phone has >40+ GB free space. After reinstall, actions for Add to queue & Go to artist are responsive. But Go to album isn't & I've to re-tap a few times.
