Why does Spotify keep re-downloading my albums? It is using a humongous amount of my data allocation. I have already downloaded many albums, some a long time ago, but recently Spotify has begun doing a re-download of all the albums every time I fire up the app.

Same thing here. A few times all downloaded albums lose the green download icon followed by an automatic re-download of the ENTIRE collection (thousands of songs).

Things then got even worse - lost access to all offline material despite the fact they were definitely stored on my phone. I posted on this forum but didn't get any replies so the only option left was to uninstall the app and related folders (as listed here)

So a couple of weeks into my premium subscription I'm not impressed - this thing is plagued by bugs that have been knocking around for years unaddressed. Add to that the max no. of downloads being capped at 3,333 songs and I'm looking for a different provider
