Hey @h34dcr4sh!

Welcome to the Spotify Community.

In this case, we think that the cache of your devices might be duplicated and this could be causing the issue. To fix this up, please remove all your offline devices over here. Then, reinstall the app following these simple steps.

This should fix the issue, but you need to remove the offline device before you reinstall the app. Keep in mind that you'll have to re-sync all your offline music once again.

Let us know how you get on 🙂

Hi,

read same problem many time but the topic are marked as solved.

I use offline files a lot and got a huge amount of playlist. I store my files on the external memory because of the amount of data.

Every now and then the mobil crashed directly in spotify and after a reboot everything is gone. Every try to recover the files failed. This happens several times on a trip and its a real disaster. The setting where to store the files is then set to device storage again (before it was external storage) and can see that files on the external storage are there (sd card is half full). If I set the setting to external again is have to wait a long time and then the memory is free, so all the offline files were deleted. Then I have to select all the playlists and download them again. That hit me 4 times the last half year! I was not offline for over a month.

Spotify definately needs a recover functionality of the saved offline files!

Would be very much appreciated, which I saw with one simple search to this topic.

Thanks.

Device: Xiaomi Redmi 4 prime

Android: 6.0.1

Sandisk Extreme 64 GB Class 10 Micro SDXC Memory Card
