I am having the same issue with my LG Aristo (Nougat 7.0). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling; the first song played and 20 secs into second song, Spotify stops playing. This has been going on for about a week, 2 weeks maybe.

After playing several tracks the app stops playing. Close app and try to restart but when it opens up, it's a blank screen. Works fine on my kids iphone. Mine is a S7. After about 10 mins it will work again.

Keep in mind that if you have the app installed on different devices and using several of them at the same time, you could be unwillingly swapping between devices. If that is not the case, I would suggest to try a clean reinstall. Uninstall the app from your device and after that reinstalled and log in. That should help.
