This seemed to resemble several other complaints I see in old forum posts here (loud split-second bursts of scraping / static / squelching noise). It was really annoying.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I seem to have solved this by rebooting my phone (Android, Moto X 2nd gen). Just powered it all the way off and booted again.&nbsp;No need to change Spotify settings or reinstall anything.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I mention this because it's unlike any of the solutions suggested in other posts that I've found here. It wasn't even a Spotify problem or a bluetooth problem, although to prove this I had to plug in speakers, quit the Spotify app, and keep listening to the silence until it was punctuated by the noise.
