Mobile Data Usage Problem

Hello,

I've been using Spotify quite a while, but this month something I've never ever seen happened.

I'm using spotify on my phone when I'm on my way to work or back to home. It takes about an hour. My usage pattern didn't change. This month I got some messages from my ISP about exceeding my monthly quota and when I check the mobile data section, I got the results that I shared with you in the below picture. With the same usage pattern Spotify used about ~1.35 gig data, but this month it's nearly 5.5 gig!

When I find out the situation, I tried restricting bg data but did not work since I couldn't listen to music. The playlist is not on my storage because I don't have a room for it.

From one developer to another, these are some details:

- My current spotify version is 8.4.11.1283 armV7

- I'm using Samsung A7 with android version 6.0.1.

- Before this problem, my streaming quality was Extereme and I changed it to Normal but didn't work out.

- I disabled the features that may use internet like Behind the Lyrics, Download Using Cellular etc.

- Today from my home to work (about an hour) spotify used 400MB of my mobile data.

I really need some serious help. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
