Hi. The cache contains copies of music you listen to so as to save bandwidth if you lited to the same track in the future. You can clear the cache form spotify's settings. Scroll to the bottom where you'll find the setting "clear cache and saved data". After logging in again, all your playlists and saved music will still be there as they're stored on the spotify servers.

Is it possible that my tablet has 5.7gb spotify data without having any song downloaded? I may erase data folder, but will I lose all my favorites and listened music? Is there a way to reduce data usage on my tablet hard disk without losing all? Thanks.
