Upload local files to Spotify?

I can do this on desktop and on iOS devices but can't find an option on the Android app. I'm on the latest version (8.4.11.1283) so am I missing something or is this not implemented in the Android version yet?

I'm not seeing where it says how to upload music, only downloading songs uploaded from your desktop? Doesn't even tell you how to do it for iOS devices so I think that page is a little outdated.

You can't upload your local files to spotify. You can download them from your PC to your mobile device and the steps for doing that are in the link I posted. If you mean something else, please explain in more detail, thanks.

Here's an image of the option I'm talking about. This is on iOS. I can't find this option on the Android app.

The option to import your music appears to have been an A/B test and was not rolled out universally.
