Spotify keeps crashing

After latest update 0.5.3.56, Spotify started crashing to home screen after 3-10 min listening (Gingerbread). I've reinstalled the program multiple times, reset the phone, pulled the battery, anything I could possibly think of. I'm starting to get frustrated.

I kow this might be a little bit late but this keeps happening to me and I tried re-installing it and downloading flash and what not.....but you need to be in online mode for you to be able to play songs. Go onto file in spotify and click offline mode until there is a tick next to it, now click it again so you are back in online. This worked for me and no problems since, so if this happens just try that 😉
