https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Spotify-drained-my-data-allowance/m-p/1979395#M88803 <P>Hi all,</P><P>On the morning of 4/9/17, sometime between midnight and 8am (BST), Spotify drained nearly my entire monthly data allowance (3GB), which has cost me £12 as I had to bring forward my SIM package by nearly a whole month.</P><P>I'm a bit confused as to how this happened. Yes, my WiFI was turned off. However no tracks were playing. I checked Spotify in the morning and it was paused on the same track I left it on the night before. Additionally, the option to download tracks from playlists over a cellular connection was disabled. I've had to disable Spotify data over cellular connection because I'm afraid it will happen again if I forget to turn my WiFi back on.
