I am using a Samsung Note 5, v. 6.0.1 with Spotify v. 6.9.0.1212. Recently while listening to my music, downloaded or not and even online, the song will randomly 'stutter.' I'm not sure how else to explain it other than a short stutter or that similar to the sound when a PS1 game would freeze. It lasts maybe a second but will happen several times throughout each song and ruin it. I have tried restarting the app, restarting my device, uninstalling the app and redownloading it, and connecting over different connections and nothing has worked. This doesn't seem to happen on my Mac, only on my phone. Please help, thanks!

If you have your power saving on, go into it and make sure you don't have
"restrict background data" on. That seemed to help with mine.

I've noticed that it gets much MUCH worse once I turn my screen off. With my screen still on, it only happens once or twice a song, and it's usually pretty faint. Not a fix, by any means, but maybe it'll help you guys enjoy your music a little more in the meantime.

Ok, so this morning when I got up I did a system update. Didn't take very long, but I've been listening to both music that I've downloaded and streamed music nonstop since the update finished and have encountered no stutters, skips, or other sonic errors. I'll update you if anything else happens, or if it starts doing it again. Hope this helps you guys out!
