I'm using a Spotify on a Nexus 5X Android phone. When using Spotify with Android Auto in my 2016 Honda Civic, I noticed that the album art displays on the main touch screen when playing music but not on the music information screen on the dashboard (inside of the tachometer). It does display album art there using Google Play Music and Pandora but not for Spotify. Is this just a limitation of the Spotify app?

Same problem with the Kenwood dmx7017dabs. Album art on the home screen doesn't show, but it does with google music. Also, it does show on the home screen if I connect my phone via bluetooth and use Spotify connect, only seems to have the problem when connect via android auto
