Thanks for the quick reply. Does the new version on the market not have the ability to listen to library (non-spotify) tracks at the moment then, and if not is this a feature that is coming soon?

Difficulty with preview version

I was trying to play downloaded library (non-spotify) music on my Android phone (HTC Desire C), but found I could not do so on the latest version of the normal app downloaded from the Google Play store. I then found the preview version (from https://www.spotify.com/uk/download/previews/) and installed it, finding that I could sync across my library music with it. So the day after I installed and synced with the preview version I listened to my library music on my morning commute. However, on the way home I launched Spotify again to find that it had reverted back to the normal Google Play version and I could no longer play my library music. Re-installing the preview version has no effect. Is this a known issue or have a done something wrong?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hey there!

Preview versions are outdated.

New one is in Market., just try it instead of those old previews.

You can listen Local tracks in new version. However this is not integrated fully.

Select all local files in PC app and add those to new playlist. Then connect your phone with Wifi or USB and from Devices select to sync your local playlist. Then you will be able to play those tracks on mobile.
