poor quality, pausing/jumping

Hello..... I've been on premium for years now and up until recently it's been spot on

However it's now starting to play up. Cannot listen to a song without it pausing, crackling and just flicking on and off like a scratched record/CD.

I've uninstalled the app and back onto my Samsung phone and still no change.

Tried different headphones and playing through my phones speaker and it's still the same.

any suggestions?

Just to add this is the case for downloaded songs or streaming so no internet issues as far as I'm aware.
