I have a OnePlus 5, which has a 3:4 camera ratio by default. When I try to scan a code, the view gets stretched. I believe it's stretching 3:4 into 9:16, but I could be wrong. This is usually not a problem for most people because most phones have camera ratios of 16:9 already.

What should happen is one of the following: the view gets letterboxed so that it stays 3:4, or the view gets cropped so the whole screen is full and not stretched.

The attached image has a circular watch, which shows up elliptical because of the stretching.
