Spotify uses mobile data even though it is disabled?!

Hi,

Ive got a Problem with my Spotify app on Android. It downloads offline Songs via mobile data even though i disabled that in the settings. Nearly killed all my mobile traffic... Anyone got an idea why that happens? Thank you!

Might be worth trying a reinstall of spotify.

I just want to add that I'm having the same problem.

I believe that the download is starting on wifi and then continuing despite the wifi connection being lost, I have noticed this when I leave home or work.

This only started happening in the last month and I've caught it twice because my data monitoring app alerted me.
