Song data not updating over bluetooth

Hi, I'm running the latest android OS on a one plus 5. When I play music over Bluetooth in my car stereo the song data gets stuck displaying the first song. This only occurs with Spotify and not with Google play music or any other music apps. Is this a bug with Spotify that needs fixing? Thanks

Try reinstalling the app and see if you're still experiencing the same issue. Here's how.

I have the same issue. Has there been a fix for This? I uninstalled and reinstalled. No change. Also I noticed the song does not change on the swipe down notifications (Swipe from the top down... You can control spotfy but the song does not update)

I see the same bad behavior (song/artist info doesn't update after the initial bluetooth connection). A reinstallation didn't fix this for me. This started happening for me about a month ago.
