Hmmm that is odd, since I too have a Galaxy Note with 4.0.4 ICS on it (original)
and I don't have any issues with the software. Are you running any custom roms or such? Using the 4.0.4 ICS? Newest Spotify Client?

Hey guys, I've got a weird issue...

So I've got a Galaxy Note (N7000) and the spotify app stops playing audio after maybe 15-20 minutes and to fix it I need to load a radio station and then reload my playlist after the radio starts playing... Which isn't always possible if I'm not at home on my wifi connection...

Anyone else got this issue or know how to fix it? Currently I don't see much point in having Premium if I can't listen to more than 3 songs on my phone at a time...

Thanks

~CynicalJedi

I'm running standard ICS 4.0.4 on a custom Speedmod kernel (Due to a hardware issue that can prove fatal which this kernel disables)

However it was doing this before I changed the kernel too, I can't figure out what it is, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times and that hasn't helped at all

Hmmm.. Have you tried factory reseting the device - format usb storage - format the sd card - When device is reset, install Spotify as the first app and check if it works.

Surely it comes to mind if you have set the Wifi settings to keep wifi on during sleep - if using Wifi to play the tunes, no power saving options enabled etc?

Surely for backup reasons, I use MyBackup Pro to backup data to SD card and then move them from the card to the PC. I don't trust Kies for backups or anything else anymore. Kies managed to make my device to loose IMEI and corrupt files when backup was suddenly disconnected / made device to reboot. Surely you could try to set it back to original image and try stuff.
