Spotify Connect does not work on Android with D-Link DCH-M225

Hello,

I am unable to stream music from Android devices using Spotify Connect. It works fine on IOS (iPad), but when I try to stream music from any Android phone, it cannot see any supported devices.

I am connected to the same wifi network with all devices. The deivice I want to stream music is D-Link DCH-M225 (http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/products/dch-m225-music-everywhere).

It does not work on Android 7.

Can anyone help, please?

According to the link you provided, this device is not compatible with Spotify Connect and only works with airplay and DLNA both of which stream from your mobile device. Connect hardware devices stream music direct from Spotify's servers. For further details and a list of compatible devices check this page.

I bought this device and I had the same problem than you.

You can try the AirSpot android app that converts your DLNA/Airplay signal in to a valid audio channel to stream from Spotify to the DCH-M225 receiver. The paid version works like charm!
