Just subscribed to premium on my HTC but no volume - all ok for other applications - help plse : )

I have moved your post over to the Android section.

There are a 2 things I suggest you double check first:

1. That Spotify's volume is not set somewhere on your phone, check inside the client and in android volume settings etc.

2. You might want to try performing a clean reinstallation of the client to see if that fixes it.

Quite often this is solved by simply rebooting your phone between installing the Spotify app and playing something - give it a go
