Some more investigations

In the other thread about this problem: https://community.spotify.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/001/page/1/thread-id/174683

A fix is mentioned by using the desktop app. and sending a stream to all defined sonos 'rooms' makes it indeed working again for the devices with associated with the account used in the desktop app....

If I use an other account from the premium family that is not able to connect. If I use the aboce trick with the desktop app the other family account is able to use the sonos speakers, but the original account is 'locked' out it sees the sonos spotify connect 'rooms' but is unable to connect.

It does seems to be a 'locking' issue maybe not recently introduced If I see the above mentioned other thread but now I'm also effected by it.

Please Fix..

🐵

Once again I anwser my own question for future readers..

🐵

I found this post:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Android/Spotify-app-won-t-connect-to-Sonos/m-p/3564456

That gives an url to older versions of the spotify app. As I rollback the spotify app to the mentioned version all seems to work again...

So please sppotify diff both versions and see what changes brougth on thsi issue and fix...
