Why do not all downloaded songs show up in Offline Backup? I like the feature a lot, but I still have to go and play some songs from other playlists when offline, because they do not show up in Offline Backup. Even songs I listen to almost every day are missing. It seems to be specific artists that are excluded, mostly lesser known artists, even if they are my favorite artists that I listen a lot to.

This Offline Backup feature sounds fantastic! It’s such a game-changer to have music available even without a connection or downloads. When a feature is available for all "Premium users" does that include The Basic Family Plan under your new subscription model, or will it only be available to "Premium Family Plan" which includes the audio books. The new language in your subscription plans is potentially misleading.

This feature sounds super helpful, especially for people who are constantly on the go. Spotify really nailed it with Offline Backup. For anyone using Android, tools like xnxubd unblock android can also improve access when you're dealing with region-based restrictions. Nice to see more options for seamless listening!

I am having to do a factory reset on my android. All the albums and playlists that I had previously downloaded are no longer downloaded. I don't know how this happened but suspect it is because my phone is messed up.

Can anyone point me to instructions to backup my playlists and albums even if they are not downloaded?

Thanks for reaching out.

Just so you know, what you’re seeing is expected behavior. When the app is reinstalled, all downloaded content is automatically removed. Since you mentioned doing a factory reset, the app had to be installed again afterward, which means your offline downloads need to be downloaded once more.

About the Offline backup playlist: it only shows up after you’ve listened to enough songs online, and if there’s enough storage available on your device. If the app was reinstalled or the cache was cleared, that playlist gets wiped and needs to be rebuilt over time.

You should still be able to see all your playlists, albums, and liked songs in your account — they just won’t be marked as available offline yet. Can you still see your content normally in the app?

I haven't performed a factory reset yet.

I understand that all of my songs , albums and playlists are going to be
available to me. They just need to be downloaded again but they will appear
in my Samsung library. Is this correct?

Yeah, if you perform a factory reset on your device, this won’t affect any of the content you have in the Spotify app. You'll just need to redownload all the offline content you had before, as mentioned.
