Something about that show inspired me somehow. By the end of it, I had this concept “dinner in a heartbreak” and this little hooky melody for that one line.</SPAN></P> <P> </P> <P><SPAN>I guess it’s stuck with me because I went home that night and dreamt it. I woke up the next morning and had to get it on paper and pulled out my guitar and wrote the music to go along with it. In the end, you and I, suit and tie, will go for a ride:</P> </DIV> <DIV><BR /> <P class="lia-align-justify">"<SPAN>The song started as three separate song ideas that we pieced together. The lyrics are supposed to paint an abstract picture of two people in a spiral of self destruction and self discovery.
