Whose dumb idea was this? And these aren't any real way of saving messages. Y'all should just leave them there. Y'all shouldn't even remove this feature. It defeats the purpose of having the community.

This is a bit of a joke. There's no actual method to save your messages being provided, but it's about what I'd expect from Spotify—adding a bunch of pointless gimmicks nobody wants instead of making the service better, whilst the app barely even works.

What will actually happen on September 28th? A little more! Will my comments and observations registered in the notification feed not disappear? My other question is, what is the reason for this change and what, if any, will be the advantage?

@Minek321 This only applies to private messages (DMs) on the Spotify Community site itself. To find them, tap the hamburger menu (top right) and look for the envelope/message icon. Any private conversations you've had with other Community members through that system are what you'd want to save before the migration. It doesn't affect anything in the Spotify app.

We realize that it only applies to the Spotify Community and the private messages within it. You're acting like we're 5 and we thought it was something else. That's what we're commenting on. There's absolutely no reason for removing this. It's a needed feature. There aren't categories for everything that everyone wants to share, and everything isn't for everyone. There might be certain information that people here don't want to the whole community to have, so we share it with one other through the Spotify Community e-mail system. That's how I got started chatting with someone from this community for a few years. It led us to sharing music together. We ended up chatting on Google, and those same conversations are now what Spotify has pulled into the Spotify messaging system. Y'all should see how y'all are affecting things, before messing with them. What's the point of adding a messaging feature on the Spotify application, then removing it from the Spotify Community? How does that make any sense? I legitimately want answers to my questions, along with feedback on what I have stated on this issue.

Hi Spotify, i am your genuine user, but now a days I am facing a problem that whenever I change song for next ,the next song doesn't sounds.it plays timeline shows that it's playing but it doesn't sounds .then I have to pause and then replay then it sounds and plays smoothly.so what is this issue please resolve

Can you fix the popping/glitching/sticking issue first before shutting down the comments sections - this is a global issue and one of your moderators is dealing with it. We want to know the answer.

I wish there was some way to export all my pms, even as text, zip, pdf, anything. I was part of the Community since 2018 and I have loads of messages, and zero time to go through each individual message and screenshot it (as the old pms didn't become threads until recently). Really sad.
