topic Anyone else having playback issues? in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

I am running the latest version of IOS (11.3.1) on an iPod Touch 6g. For the last several months, Spotify has utterly failed to do its one job: play quality music. I am getting CONSTANT playback glitching, skipping, pausing and fast forwarding no matter what situation I am in. I have tried using different networks, playing offline music, using different headphones, using bluetooth headphones, using no headphones, reinstalling Spotify, restarting my device, changing playback quality - nothing has worked. This is incredibly frustrating and I am one glitched song away from cancelling my Spotify subscription for good.

Is anyone else having this issue or a similar issue, or does anyone have any ideas about how I might fix this? Thanks!

I have the same issue, but on Iphone 7+ it's obnoxious

It happens only when selecting music and allowing it to play for a little it, it almost sounds like it's fast forwards or taking in touch screen input when the screen is disabled.

it eventually goes away, and play normally, until you select new music.

Same issue for me, iPhone 7+, it’s very temperamental and usually after I’ve locked my screen after an action. It jumps, crackles and skips. Thought it was my phone getting old but apparently it’s a thing?

Replying back to you. It's not Spotify, I have the same issue using SoundCloud, weird stuff with calling.

I have also tried various headphones(same problem), and it seems not to do it using iphone speakers, only on headphones.

so it is either the lightning jacks are dirty, wearing out, or there is a bug is iOS for Audio control.

It typically comes in groups ... once it does it it keeps doing it but then eventually goes away for a few days then comes back.
