Downloading Playlists from Local Files

Hi,

My name is Ryan, and I've been using Spotify for a little over two years. I'm a big Chance the Rapper fan, and since his album Acid Rap wasn't on Spotify, I decided I was going to add it myself.

So I downloaded the album from Mixtapemonkey.com, unpacked the 7zip, put the music in my local files, and created a playlist titled Acid Rap with the songs in it. But when I click download, nothing happens.

This is frustrating because my end goal is to download this music on my phone so I can listen to Acid Rap while on the go.

What I can tell you:

No song from my local files will download, I've tried all of them.

Songs that I add to the playlist from Spotify will download.

I am a premium member on a family account.

I have not downloaded one song, so I'm nowhere near the 3,300 limit, and I have only one offline device, my phone.

When I look at the playlist on my phone, it tells me there are 13 songs, but when I click on the playlist, there is nothing there.

On my computer, the playlist is there. It is not grayed out, and I can play the music freely.

And lastly, I use Windows 10.
