Last.fm will not scrobble anything from spotify anymore. idk what to do. When I am playing a song it says on Last.fm that I am listening to it but when I finish, the scrobble disappears. I have tried reconneting my account. I have tried deleting last.fm and redownloading. Nothing is working and I am getting angry.

Hi @gothic798 and welcome to Spotify community! 🙂

I had this issue yesterday morning and I see that Last.FM just sent out emails today with how to reconnect your account. Apparently, they have updated the way it scrobbles from Spotify.

The steps I took to get back online before this email came out was:
1. Reset password with Last and sign in/out of both Spotify and Last sites.

2. Connect the Spotify scrobbler on Last's site under Settings>Applications.

A little bit OFF-topic: Today I got an e-mail apparently coming from last.fm containing a link to re-connect spotify account. The link directs to a "https://last.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?..." URL. I will not click on it. Probably a scam.

Hi @cuh7b5, 🙂

I received this email too and it was legit. But if you are not comfortable clicking their link you can still reconnect via the site directly (Profile>Settings>Applications) - otherwise your scrobbles may not count anymore since they made the update.
