Finding friends

My Question or Issue

I am trying to locate family members on Spotify. I use the following formula in the search bar to locate:

spotify:username:xxxxx

Xs = family member username

Each time I do this I get two error messages. The first states that the username cannot be located. The second states: "Couldn't Open Link. Spotify can't open this type of link on this device."

I have tried logging out and logging back in to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out.

Spotify are currently exploring different social options for the free, ad-supported service on mobile. Right now, the ability to search for and follow your friends is unavailable.

Hopefully, Spotify will have more information about this soon 🙂
