Searching a username

My Question or Issue

The current version I have 8.4.53. When I go to the section that is made for searching, if I type in a username, it only comes up with artists, songs, playlists, albums, and podcasts & videos. No usernames come up for me anymore. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading it to my phone but the same thing comes up. I can’t search usernames, can’t go to my profile, can’t see my friends, my main concern is searching usernames though !

Hey @gh-0_3t2dlly,

Spotify are currently exploring different social options for the free, ad-supported service on mobile. Right now, the ability to search for and follow your friends is unavailable. Hopefully, Spotify will have more information about this soon.
