My spotify keeps skipping

I have been having issues with my Spotify for a few weeks now. When I play songs on my ipod, they are constantly skipping. At this point I can't listen to the app for more than a minute or two without having this issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello Lauren,

One of the few things you can do to resolve this is issue is to remove the app from the device then re install it.

If this does not seem to work, your device may have a compatible issue within the app and you may need to reset the phone, of course only if you would like to go this far.

If issues continue to happen it may be a hardware malfunction between the deivce and app.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
