App won’t load

i stopped using spotify since summer break started and i didn’t need spotify for the bus ride anymore. then, when i went back into the back to check something, it didn't load.

it let me into the app, but it just shows me the spotify icon with a black background.

it didnt do anything else, sometimes it lets me into the home page, then freezes.

its been like this for almost a month now.

can someone help me?

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

i have restarted, and reinstalled my app,

and it still has the same results,

i have iOS 11.4.1 (latest ver) and i have ver 8.4.62 (which is atm the latest ver.)
