Repeat track doesn’t work

iPhone with the latest update (12.0)
USA

Recently I have been noticing that my repeat playlist button is on the screen and working but when I click it a second time to get it to repeat the song, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t even give me the option to repeat track. I am using a Spotify playlist, and I also put the song in my playlist.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. Any screenshots would also help 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!
